Aava delivers enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution systems to multiple industries. Among these, a growth area to Aava is bulk goods manufacturing execution system, where especially the SME companies have had difficulties in finding suitable solutions.
In continuation to other Aava MES deliveries, Aava and Pa-Hu Oy have agreed on a delivery of a large-scale system, covering all needed parts by Pa-Hu; HRM, CRM, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Products, Logistics management, and a full-scale manufacturing execution system.
According to Pa-Hu’s Managing Director Ilkka Raikamo, Pa-Hu had for a long time been searching for a software vendor that would be able to deliver a system to improve their activities now and in the future.
“At the last stage of our search process we came across an article about Aava in the daily business newspaper Kauppalehti. We decided to find out if Aava’s customer-specific delivery model could suit our purposes. We have invested heavily into R&D and in June 2012 began manufacturing of corrugated cardboard in our own production line. To ensure our competitiveness as a an integral player in the industry, it is important for us to look after capacity management and cost efficiency. We were convinced about Aava’s skills and capability to understand our business, and we are happy to develop in co-operation a new manufacturing execution system, which is scalable to our needs in the future”.
