Aava delivers an integrated ERP system to STT, Suomen Talotekniikka Group. The software delivery includes wide functionality: customer, subcontractor and supplier management, HR and payroll management, sales (offer, order, invoicing, accounts receivable, customer-specific price lists and materials management), procurement (purchase orders workflow, accounts payable, scrap and loss control, distributor invoices), project management (calendar, resourcing and scheduling) and multiple integrations to: bank interfaces, sales and purchase invoices, e-invoicing, distributor catalogs and price information, accounting, tax authority reporting.
In addition, the delivery includes a work hours portal for the whole personnel, work portal, HR portal (salaries, internal communications) and a work order portal through which external persons and companies can complete orders and follow their progress.

Mobile work management system includes tools for work planners to resource needed field installers and provide them work instructions. The installers use a dedicated smart phone portal where job tasks can be entered with the most simple method: a work tasks is started, it can interrupted and finally marked as completed. Multiple installers can work at the same site simultaneously and the work task can be divided over a long stretch of time. The field workers can be delivered freely assignable work sites, decreasing the calls back to work supervisor. After the work task is completed, the installer enters the related materials and per diem costs, which are automatically marked into expenses. The field installer can also create new tasks, which the supervisor can later amend with additional information.
“We are getting the maximum utilization of our installer personnel and at the same time a simple to use phone user interface makes their work easier, the manual administration and paper pushing is eliminated and this leads to significant cost savings”.
Project delivery is made in two phases; this way the implementation is made easier and the system is being learned in steps. At the same time, needed changes can be made daily to achieve an optimal fit of the system for the whole customer group. All features of the system can be accessed and user via various mobile terminals, such as smart phones, tablets or laptops. Savings are also realized via decreasing operating costs as work station upgrade needs decrease significantly. The system runs on Linux delivered over cloud, and the service providers cost structures can be assessed anytime. This will result in cost savings, as the users and system can be scaled up when needed by the business.
