Aava’s new web site is finally launched and we are facing an interesting autumn with many new things ahead us. Over the past months we have grown at an unprecedented speed and the future looks very bright. We acquired two new major customers during the summer and it looks that we will be able to start co-operation with many other interesting companies as well during the fall. There is clearly a a definite need for customer-specific ERP and MES systems, and Aava seems to be the only vendor being able to cater for that need, both time and cost-effectively.
With the launch of the new web site we will begin publishing articles in this blog related primarily to enterprise resource planning, its technology, trends and markets. Our aim is to provide objective information, yet keeping in mind our own philosophical point-of-view.
Enterprise resource planning is already a well-matured industry in its mid-life, but for some reason it feels that the traditional vendors are stuck in their early-days era thinking, and no real growing up has happened. For sure, new ideas such as SaaS and enterprise mobility do surface at times, but the underlying technical foundation and principles have remained pretty much the same for decades.
Major changes have taken place mostly in marketing materials and licensing and delivery methods, and most often these changes have served the vendors themselves. For the user, these have brought along an even more complex story, and more and more knowledge is needed by users to interpret the meaning of the changes. Unfortunately, the outcome has often been that the customer doesn’t really know what they are buying and at which total cost.
Aava aims to change this and we truly believe we are providing something completely new and differentiating in which the customer benefit is of key importance. This would not be possible without a technological solution that differs from traditional approach. We are looking forward to the fall and the future, do stay tuned to hear what the future brings!
